"Who will even read this?". Another pertinent query though admittedly not an especially motivating one. I decided to start writing a blog weeks ago, but in the time between then and now I have apparently forgotten why. It's genesis likely some wave of inspiration, as these often have the peculiar effect of leaving one with a tidy list of to-do's. And so I owe this awkward first post to our master, Inspiration. I will let it be my North Star, my beacon, my compass sense. Simply put, if it inspires me I will find a home for it here. And so I foresee the bulk of this blog pertaining to food. That's not to say this will necessarily become a food blog. Certainly the passions in my life are many. However in the last three years my understanding of and relationship with food has undergone a series of fundamental changes. I intend to discuss these when relevant, and to use this blog as a place to record and share recipes and various other culinary and nutritional contemplations.
The myriad interests and involvements I keep ought to provide ample blog-fodder, but it is my intention to limit content to that which I find extraordinarily useful, be it a source or product of inspiration or as a tool for education. I shall attempt to avoid the common trappings of the average blog. We have a precious few hours on this earth, best to spend them resourcefully.
